As the marketing subsidiary of live entertainment company Outback Presents, EOA was built with the intent of being smart and incognito, unlike many forward-facing marketing agencies. From start to finalized presentational stages, I was tasked with developing the core visual system. The project was formulated from substantial creative fluxuality, and with the guidance and immense support from the Head of Marketing and peer designer.

A year after becoming the first student ever to release a clothing collection with the School of Visual Arts, Store Operations Manager Ian Scott Stoner reached out once again after I asked Paula Scher if she was a dog or cat person. At a guest lecture with hands reaching the sky eager to ask serious questions.

Needless to say, the point of that story was to provide a little context to the inspiration behind this collection. SVA had never been spelled out collegiately til now.

SVA isn’t any traditional college. But it is one. And there was nothing ever to really show for it. So I thought, why not design that here?
The initial collection features a Hoodie & Long-sleeve shirt.
A question constantly being asked here was: “How differently could we reinterpret the concept of collegiate apparel while still expressing the real School of Visual Arts identity?
