I LOVE/HATE INTERNET

BRANDING / LOGO DESIGN
2023

You either love or hate the internet, or both or neither. What remains true is that you need it. Given this prompt, an entire branding system had to be created, and result in an exhibition.

The logo needed to feel new yet play into familiar symbols. It was key for recognizability. As strong of a brand it is, every other component like tickets or posters need to uphold that responsibility. Many configurations were made to ensure the logo was perfect.
This was the initial entrance to the overall brand system. Playful fun stuff.

A second design approach that would end up being scrapped. It works but I felt that there was no soul behind it. Most likely it was the fact that it looks like it is trying too hard to feel sophisticated. Nowhere near is it as adventurous and bold as its matured brother.
Scrapped animation
Posters I contributed to for the inclusion of the poster exhibition at MoMA. From the very beginning this was a collaboration-intensive process. Revisions had to be ensured collectively.
